We at Gee How Quaint Head Quarters (GHQ HQ) thought it would be a good idea to interview the husband of designer and founder of GHQ, Cassandra. After all, most men aren't married to a powerhouse entrepreneur like Cassandra. Oh my, what must it be like to be a part of that household.
Interview 20th February 2008.
I: So, tell us a little bit about yourself. Where you were born, educational background, your favourite kind of music....
M: Well, I would consider myself a northern lad. I went to uni at Imperial College and...
I: Yes, that's very interesting. Now tell us, what was it like when you met Cassandra? Were you enamoured at first sight? Did you bask in the glory of her presence and wonder at how lucky you were to have met such a divine creature?
M: What?!
I: I am sure you have found it exciting to watch her develop the business. You have witnessed her create her amazing drawings and fantastically print them onto fabric. You have also witnessed her updating her website, sending out press releases and hiring new seamstresses. What has been her biggest success to date?
M: I thought this interview was about me. Uhm, well, HER biggest success...
I: Well, I am sure there are too many to count. Moving right along, what would you say is the best part about being Cassandra's life partner? Is it that you get to listen to her whitter on and on about her business, or is it her creative energy, or possibly her cooking skills. We hear they are rather good.
M: If you like beans on toast three nights a week, then yes, I guess she is a good cook. As for the other things you've mentioned...
I: Well, again, I am sure there are plenty of good things to mention and just not enough time to list them all. Now, for my final questions. Don't you think it is the man's job to take out the rubbish? Why haven't you been doing it lately?
M: Excuse me?!
