Okay, little Nebraskan lass, I will make my comment now! *Referring to comment on The Late Shows and my lack of a review.
My venue of choice was Northern Print, found inside of this pictured building. I think it was my leanings towards print making that made this one a great visit. Or...it could have been the live music or the drinks or the fact that I could have made a badge. Hurrah! There were also demonstrations, which were quite fascinating as there are massive gaps in my knowledge of printmaking even though I studied it at uni and my entire business is based on my printed fabric. So, there you go. There is always something to learn.
Northern Print offers loads of classes on all sorts of printing techniques. When this crazy school year ends (in which I am currently teaching full time!...how am I not dead yet from exhaustion?) I am signing up for a class or two.
Other cool things on the night: Glowsticks given away at the museums. Everyone. And families and couples and kids and teenagers and uni students. This event really grabbed the attention of all sorts. It was lovely, walking in the fading evening light and seeing so many people walking around all over the city, museum hopping. What a genius idea.
sounds fabulous.
glow sticks make me want to roller skate.
